Strategic Board

The Strategic Board is the central governing body of both initiatives, responsible for both strategic and administrative leadership. It is co-led by the two principal investigators: 

• Prof. Dr. med. Britta Maurer: Clinic Director and Chief Physician at the University Clinic for Rheumatology and Immunology (URI)
• Prof. Dr. med. Christoph Stettler: Clinic Director and Chief Physician at the University Clinic for Diabetology, Endocrinology, Nutritional Medicine, and Metabolism (UDEM)

Dr. Maurer and Dr. Stettler are supported by the MeHDI & ORN Secretariat:

• Dr. Usha Sarma, Research Strategy Manager
• Dr. Laura Hackl, Scientific Coordinator

Supported by the Steering Committee, the Strategic Board oversees key activities, including project coordination and budget management, strategic planning and outreach activities.
